Self Esteem Affirmations
We all suffer with lack of self esteem at different times in our lives and the negative thinking can take over. The trouble is the more negative you become you actually reinforce the behaviour and talk yourself into situations or feelings of negativity that wouldn't otherwise arise. It really is self sabotage!
But by recognising this and reframing your thoughts, the effects can be just as powerful in a postive way. Practicing affirmations can really help to improve your confidence on a daily basis. The more you practice the affirmations and being kind to yourself the more your brain will believe what it is told.
Our brains are complex machines but it does not know the difference between fact and fiction, so the more you tell yourself something the more it will believe it to be true!
Affirmations are positive statements that help us overcome negative thoughts. The idea is that you repeat them often, and they reprogramme the pattern of thinking in our subconscious minds. So over time you think and behave differently.
Affirmations are great to help alleviate stress, can calm your nerves and increase your levels of self confidence too.
